Hi there everyone! Thanks for visiting! So, my last campaign went well and thanks to everyone who donated. I just wanted to let you know about a friend of mine named Meghan who I met last year at Tap City in NY. Meghan has Cystic Fibrosis and i would love to help raise money for www.CaringBridge.org in her name since they help kids like Meghan when they need to be in the hospital all the time.
So in case you don't know, cystic fibrosis is this thing that kind of affects your lungs and makes it hard to breathe. Meghan has to go to the hospital a lot but it sounds like she has a really good group of doctors and nurses that take good care of her because she gets to come back to NY in a couple of weeks to do Tap City with me!
I am still working on how to do stuff on my website but I will try to put up some pictures of Meghan so you can see her. And please be generous! I want her to get really healthy so we can be tap stars one day!
I am going to dance around NYC and would love if you saw me to come up and donate some spare change. I also have a paypal account that my parents helped me set up if you want to help but don't live in NY. Here's a little something about Meghan:
My name is Meghan I am 12 and I have Cystic Fibrosis. I spend ALOT of time at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth. I love them up there. They are like my family. I call it Hotel CHaD. I have alot of treatments I have to do to keep myself healthy it takes me about 14 hours a day to do this. Sometimes I really hate it. Background Story So on a non medical side I love to dance and sing. I am always dancing and my feet and body don't stop. I have been dancing at a studio since I was 3. I started at Capital City Dance Center under Pam "PJ" White in Concord NH. Then I went to Success Dance and Performing Arts Center in Merrimack NH under Jen Hammer, and now I am back at Capital City Dance Center. I take Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Lyrical. I have danced in Walt Disney World and NYC. I am also a Make A Wish Ambassador. I go around and tell people how Make A Wish is so great. My family and I had the best time ever on my wish. I wished to go to Disney World on a family vacation. We spent a whole week there and it was the most fun. I have also had the chance to spend a whole week with the crew from Extreme Home Makeover. This was a fun week too. I watch that show every Sunday night since it first started. My mom and I always cry when we watch this show. So when I got the chance to meet the crew I couldn't believe it. I first met Paulie and Michael and the next thing I knew I got to be Paulie's helper for the week. It was the coolest thing ever. I worked on a bed for the youngest boy. I got to hang with Ty and Tonya. I got to meet the family the Voisines. They are a great family. I still talk with Paulie every couple of weeks. thanks for visiting!
